Gulfstream: Rail deep again

From the looks of the early results, the inside is not the place to be on the main track especially after the 3-5 Arch Traveler went down in a blaze from down on the fence in the fifth race. The intriguing maiden special weight dash was won by a game Heron Lake who forced the pace about three paths removed from the inside then outgamed fellow firster Hammersmith who actulaly stuck his head in front from outside the winner near midstretch.  Nick Zito trains Heron Lake for Robert LaPenta.

It will be interesting to see if Sr. Henry showed up for the eighth race.  Sr. Henry has already been scratched twice at the meet and he's already been entered back again in a tougher, higher priced optional claiming race on Thursday.
