Fair Grounds: Very belated Monday conditions

Fast and off turf.
Cloudy, 48 degrees.
Very windy. Wind north/northwest (cross/tail) 16-28 mph.

Perfect record of 5-5 off-turf this week. Actually, the course can use the break. Should do it good for the rest of the meet.

With the wind blowing hard up the backstretch and into the far turn, fractional times balloon accordingly. Final times are average to a tick or two slow. No apparent bias.

Blinkers on put Moonbie on lead in featured race 6, and after sucking back off the pace while trapped on the rail last time, he made all the running and won comfortably for James Graham - Tom Amoss combo. Six furlongs in a decent 1:11.24 in 3yo N1x alw./$50K claimer. Moonbie, a son of Malibu Moon, pretty seriously wings his left front.
