Del Mar: Upset start to big pick 6

Warren's Judy ($48) rallied on the turn to take the lead and won Wednesday's third race for maiden claimers, the first leg of a pick six that drew a pool of $1,682,432. There was a carryover of $341,252 going into Wednesday's program from Sunday.

Warren's Judy (Christian Santiago Reyes) finished 1 1-4 lengths in front of Ansede, the 8-5 favorite. Warren's Judy ran 5 1-2 furlongs in 1:05.76.

Warren's Judy broke well, stalked pacesetter Kvetch to the turn and made a two-wide move to reach the front before the eighth pole.

There were three claims, each for $32,000. Ansede was taken in a two-way shake by 79-year-old trainer Troy Taylor; English Puddin,who finished seventh, was claimed by Nicolas Acuna; and Playing Dirty, who finished 11th, was taken by Dean Pederson.
