Jockey Joel Rosario won the fourth race on the heavily favored Tripped the Light but left it to the last chance before reaching the front in the one-mile race for $10,000 claimers. Tripped the Light won by a head.

Tripped the Light ($3.40) was last with three-eighths of a mile remaining and rallied wide through the stretch to catch an unlucky Really Elegant, a 10-1 shot in the field of nine. Veillit' finished third.

Tripped the Light was trained for Wednesday's race by Jeff Mullins, who claimed the 6-year-old mare for $16,000 at Hollywood Park in April. She later finsihed third in claiming races worth $22,500 and $20,000.

Tripped the Light was claimed on Wednesday in an 11-way shake by Hector Palma. Veillit' was claimed by trainer Vann Belvoir.
