Del Mar: PVal doubles on 'Cruise'; winning trifecta is claimed


Jockey Patrick Valenzuela won for the second time in four races on Wednesday when Endless Cruise ($5.40) justified his short price with a frontrunning win in a maiden claimer for 2-year-olds over 5 1-2 furlongs by 4 3-4 lengths in the fourth race.

Endless Cruise made her career debut on Wednesday for trainer Peter Miller.

By Easing Along, Endless Cruise was claimed in a six-way shake by John Sadler. Runner-up Ride Captain was claimed in a two-way shake by Jorge Periban. Teasing Bernie, who finished third, was claimed by Jim Cassidy.
