Del Mar: Pick six carryover at $130,980

There is a pick six carryover of $130,980 for Saturday's 10-race program after favorites lost all six races.

Going into the final leg, there were four horses covered in the pick six, including runner-up Pretty Kinzie, but Nothing to Fear ($26.80) pulled an upset in the $12,500 claimer over six furlongs.

Saturday's pick six will be considered a pick five by many bettors because of the presence of the mighty Zenyatta in the $300,000 Clement Hirsch Stakes for fillies and mares in the ninth race, the fifth leg of the pick six. Zenyatta is 1-5 to remain unbeaten after 18 starts in the Grade 1 Hirsch, which is run over 1 1-16 miles. Zenyatta won the 2008 and 2009 runnings of the Hirsch.

The pick six on Satuday covers the fifth through 10th races. There were early scratches in the fifth and eighth races. In the fifth race, Devil's Mate is withdrawn from a maiden claimer over 5 1-2 furlongs. In the eighth race, Capture the Call is scratched from an optional claimer over a mile.
