Del Mar: Pick 6 pays $756,415

Half Dome Dude ($9.80) scooted clear from a field of maiden claimers in the stretch to win Sunday's final race, resulting in a pick six payoff of $756,415 to one ticketholder.

The winning ticket was purchased ontrack and cost $2,688, track officials said.

There was one winning favorite in Sunday's pick six, Gab Power ($5) in the seventh race. The other winners of the fifth through 10th races were Quantity ($13.40), Silent Saga ($24.80), Evita's Sister ($13.60), Cozi Rosie ($10.40) and Del Mar Dude.

Sunday's pick six began with a carryover of $142,756 from Saturday. Bettors added $1,148,729 on Sunday.

Many tickets relied on 3-5 Glamorista, who finished fifth in the eighth race, and 4-5 Harmonious, who finished fourth in the ninth race, the John Mabee Stakes.

Half Dome Dude (Edwin Maldonado) was saddled by Mike Mitchell, who won three races on Sunday, and all three were claimed from him. Half Dome Dude was claimed in a five-way shake by trainer Caesar Dominguez.
