Del Mar: Pick 6 Carryover reaches $178,834

There is a pick six carryover of $178,834 for Wednesday, the second highest pick six carryover of the current meeting.

The pick six covers the third through eighth races on a program that has several large fields.

There is a potential single in the featured $100,000 Real Good Deal Stakes in the unbeaten Goggles McCoy, who is making his stakes debut in the seven-furlong race for 3-year-old statebreds.

The sequence features a $12,500 claimer over 6 1-2 furlongs for fillies and mares, a maiden race for 2-year-old statebreds over 5 1-2 furlongns, an $8,000 claimer over a mile, a $40,000 claimer for 3-year-old fillies over a mile on turf, the Real Good Deal Stakes, and a maiden claimer for statebred 2-year-olds over 5 1-2 furlongs.

Chances are bettors will add more than $1 million to the pool on Wednesday since there are two dark days at Del Mar on Monday and Tuesday, giving fans a chance to focus on Wednesday's card.
