Del Mar: One ticket in pick 6

There was one winning ticket in Saturday's pick six, worth $181,252.

In the 10th race, for maiden claimers, Warrens Wild Thing ($35) rallied wide to catch Detective Poirot in the seven-furlong race. Tiz Royal finished third and was claimed in a three-way shake by Peter Miller.

Warrens Wild Thing is trained by Hall of Famer Jack Van Berg, but was just his second winner of the year, and first at the Del Mar meeting.

The other winners of Saturday's pick six races were Hurry Home Clover ($7), Shediak ($49.80), Kettle Corn ($7.20), Weemissfrankie ($6.80) and Jeopardy Lady ($9.20). The winning ticket was sold on-track for $480, track officials said.

Sunday's pick six covers the fifth through 10th races. Because there is no carryover, there will be $50,000 in "seed money" to start the bet.
