Email

Kicken Off, a 4-year-old filly making her first start for trainer Julio Canani, fell on the turn of an allowance race over 1 1-16 miles on turf in Wednesday's third race. Jockey Martin Pedroza was not injured in the one-horse spill.

The condition of Kicken Off was not immediately known. She was transported to the barn area via the horse amblance for further evaluation.

Kicken Off made her seventh start on Wednesday. Previously trained by Jamie Lloyd, Kicken off had one victory, at Hollywood Park last October.

The race was won by Warren's Got Game ($29.20) who closed from last in a field of eight to win by three-quarters of a length over 11-1 Last Sting. Ex Lover, the 5-2 favorite, finished sixth after racing near the front for the first six furlongs.

Warren's Got Game (Patrick Valenzuela) won the first leg of a pick six that attracted a pool of $181,980.
