Email

Money Included, the original second-place finisher in Thursday's second race, was disqualified and placed fourth for causing interference in the stretch of a $20,000 claimer over a mile.

After a seven-minute review by the stewards, Money Included was ruled to have impeded original third and fourth-place finishers Iwannaiwannaiwanna and Quite an Honour, who were promoted to second and third.

The inquiry did not affect race winner Welcome Home Ryan ($8.20) who raced on the inside through the stretch and was not involved in the inquiry. Welcome Home Ryan finished a half-length in front of Money Included, who was a head in front of Iwannaiwannaiwanna, who, in turn, was a nose in front of Quite an Honour at the finish.

There were three claims in the second race, all for $20,000 - Welcome Home Ryan was claimed in three-way shake by Danny Velasquez, who trained the colt until February; Iwannaiwannaiwanna was claimed in a six-way shake by Robertino Diodoro and Quite an Honor was claimed in a two-way shake by Steve Knapp.
