Del Mar: Bettors add $853,375 to pick six

Bettors added $853,375 to Friday's pick six pool, which began with a carryover of $103,938 from Thursday's program.

The first leg, the third race, was won by Missilette ($8.40) who led throughout a maiden claimer for 2-year-old fillies over 5 1-2 furlongs. Missilette, the second choice in the betting, was timed in 1:05.15, finishing 3 1-4 lengths in front of Darling Disarray. Sparrow, the 8-5 favorite, could only finish third, never threatening the winner.

Sparrow was claimed for $32,000 in a four-way shake by John Sadler. The Florida-bred filly is Invisible Ink and made her career debut on Friday.
