Del Mar: For $62,500, 4 claims for Luckarack

Luckarack, second in the Real Good Deal Stakes on Aug. 10, was claimed in a four-way shake by trainer Doug O'Neill, the second time this summer that the two-time stakes winner has been claimed.

Luckarack will now race for a partnership. He was claimed for $62,500 from breeders Larry and Marianne Williams and trainer Jeff Mullins by Gary and Cecil Barber and trainer John Sadler at Hollywood Park on June 30, the day he won a six-furlong turf race by a nose. For the Barbers and Sadler, Luckarack started twice - finishing second in the Real Good Deal and third in Saturday's seventh race, an optional claimer over 6 1-2 furlongs. Luckarack finished 1 1-4 lengths behind race winner Details R Sketchy.

In 2010, Luckarack won the Nevin Alameda County Futurity and Cavonnier Juvenile on the Northern California fair circuit.
