Email

There was a 17-way shake for third-place finisher He's a Dance Star in Saturday's third race.

He's a Dance Star, a 4-year-old gelding, disputed the pace with eventual winner Yankee Gone South ($21.60) for the first half-mile of the five-furlong optional claimer on turf, but faded late and was caught for second on the line by Quick Enough.

Paddy Gallagher is the new trainer of He's a Dance Star, a winner of 3 of 10 starts.

Yankee Gone South, who gave trainer Dallas Keen his first winner of the meeting, was timed in 55.61 seconds. He was the winner of the first leg of a pick six that drew a pool of $273,172.
