Workout analysts reported that FLASHBACK was the real deal and the juvenile full brother to multiple Grade 1 winner Zazu didn't disappoint first-out on December 8.  Trained by Bob Baffert, Flashback went off the even-money favorite going seven furlongs over the Hollywood cushion track and drew away by 3 1/2 lengths with a 93 Beyer Speed Figure.  A $260,000 weanling purchase, Flashback looks destined for stakes competition sooner rather than later.

Zenyatta won first-out at 6 1/2 furlongs over the cushion track with an 87 Beyer en route to becoming one of the most beloved horses in memory. *Zenyatta's little half-sister, EBLOUISSANTE, made a fine debut at Betfair Hollywood Park last week.  Equipped with blinkers, Eblouissante, by champion Bernardini, rallied from the back of the pack to score at 1 1/16 miles with an 85 Beyer Speed Figure.  The sophomore filly is the fourth debut winner foaled by Vertigineux and seems destined for stakes races down the road.
