Churchill Downs: Pleasant Prince last in 4-year-bow, entrymate Headache wins

Multiple stakes winner Pleasant Prince, making his first start since running ninth in the Breeders' Cup Classic last fall, bombed in his first start as a 4-year-old in Saturday's ninth race - but entrymate Headache bailed out Pleasant Prince's backers by winning the race easily. He raced 1 1/16 miles on a fast main track in 1:42.61.

Coupled with Pleasant Prince, Headache paid $3.80.

Both horses are owned by Ken and Sarah Ramsey, although they have different trainers. Mike Maker trains Headache, while Wesley Ward trains Pleasant Prince.

Headache's win was his first since taking the Claiming Crown Jewel last summer.

Pleasant Prince, a bit washy heading to the gate, raced in fifth early and retreated on the final turn, finishing last of seven.
