Churchill Downs: Might, full sister to Blame, wins fifth race

Might ($6.20), a full sister to Breeders' Cup Classic winner Blame, dominated first-level allowance runners in the fifth race Friday on Kentucky Oaks Day at Churchill Downs. In victory, she pushed her record to two-for-three.

Winning jockey Garrett Gomez said Might is "full of talent," but otherwise she doesn't share a lot in common with her brother, who Gomez rode last year.

"You can kind of see his face in her a little bit," he said. "She's a little more headstrong. He was more laid back."

Might, a 3-year-old daughter of Arch out of Seeking The Gold mare Liable, is owned by her breeders, Adele Dilschneider and Claiborne Farm, and trained by Al Stall.
