Churchill: big carryovers Thurs.

The big news for horseplayers is that for the 8th time in the last 10 years, a huge post-Derby carryover awaits Thursday, with more than $514,000 just sitting there in the $2 pick six (races 5-10). In addition, there is $220,430 carried over in the $1 super high five (race 10). Lots of luck, though, as all of these races look very tricky . . . actually wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see a massive carryover into the 11-race Fri. twilight card.

The weather here is rather sultry for this time of year, with temps expected to reach the high 80s. There's some cloud cover and a chance for showers later in the day, but it looks like we'll have a fast track and firm turf all day. First post is 12:45 ET.

Here follow the changes for the Thursday card:

Race 1 - SCR #5 Bless the Soldier

Race 5 - SCR #5 Echoes Resounding

Race 6 - SCR #1 My Buddy Bubba

Race 8 - SCR #1A(p.o.e.) Hanover Road

Race 10 - SCR #2 Mr. Invester; SCR #13(ae) Solomon's Flag; SCR #14(ae) Win It; note that #4 Miami Rockstar is a first-time gelding
