CD: Fri. scratches; p6 carry is $114k

It's hot here again today, but not nearly AS hot as it was for the first 2 Fri nite programs at the '10 spring meet  . . . I'm going to say they'll get more than the 25k they averaged in the house the first 2 and make the over-under 27,222 for tonight . . . "For Recreational Purposes Only," of course.

A pretty nice 11-race card tonight (first post 6 ET), with the $2 pick 6 (races 6-11) looking eminently hittable, at least on paper. I'm planning on a $240 ticket with a couple of singles, including Here Comes Ben in the featured 10th. The carryover is $114,650, so a single winner could be worth $250k or more, you'd think. Makes the night even more interesting, eh?

Fast track, firm turf, with the inner rail being 22 feet off the hedge. No C.Borel tonight; he's riding in Iowa tonight, riding here tomorrow, and then, incredibly, going back to Iowa again tomorrow nite. "He told me he wanted to be a jockey," his agent, Jerry Hissam, deadpanned yesterday.

Here are the early changes on the card . . . good luck.
