CALDER: What bias

Just when it looked like you couldn't come from off the pace to win, here comes Bond Baroness, the longest price on the board, to win the 10th race at 23-1. Missy Miner rallied from last on the extreme outside to finish second in the seven furlong optional claimer for fillies and mares. No excuse for pace setter Exclusive Woman who Cruzed to the lead following a bit of a slow start but had nothing left despite the prevailing track bias once leaving the eighth pole.

Trainer Marty Wolfson's Dash Dot Dash has opened as the 1-9 favorite for the featured Emergency Nurse Stakes and may not close at too much higher price in a scratch reduced field of five.
