CALDER: No place like home

EmailAt least that's the case with Lord  Robyn the 8-year-old former stakes winner who returned to familiar digs in trainer David Fawkes barn and responded by winning his first start since returning home when wearing down Double Judge to win the featured tenth race under Manny Aguilar. the victory was the first for Lord Robyn since May 13 at  Churchill Downs and the 13 of his career.  The win pushed his lifetime earnings to nearly $485,000.  The public obviously liked the fact Lord R. was back home again, betting him down to be the lukewarm 3-1 favorite in the scratch reduced field of six.
