Calder: No live tickets in Pick-4

No live tickets in the pick-4 that ends with the eighth race after the 20-1 Rexson's Rose pulled a shocker in the seventh event, re-rallying after dropping off the early pace to an easy victory to a field of tired bottom level claimers including poor Honey Honey Honey who has finally hit the wall a fter making his ninth start since being claimed by trainer Fred Warren just 11 weeks earlier.  Would hope this classy gelding, who did win twice during that span, will finally get a little break.

The other winners in this pick-4 sequence included longshots Karmanos(his first win since 2008) and Kaiser's D'Light.  It's been a day for price horses right from the start with Pirate Smile taking the opener and paying $44.00.

Sweet in the City should get chalkplayers back on track in the eighth facing a field he's already handled in each of his last two starts.   The main track playing fair up to this point in the day.
