Calder: Little Drama much the best

Don't let the final margin of victory fool anybody. Despite the fact he seemed to win by a desperate head over Motin, Little Drama was much, much the best in the 9th race considering jockey Jose Angel Garcia allowed himself to get trapped along the rail in the deeper going nearly every step of the way. Despite racing against a pretty severe bias, Little Drama had enough class and talent to outfinish Motin who got a dream trip outside. As for Uno Caliente, his bubble burst quickly following that big maiden win despite the fact jockey Carlos Olivero tried to get him off the rail after breaking a step slow and bumping with the winner leaving the gate. Set to fast a pace from the deeper part of the track, paid the price when stopping to a walk down the stretch.
