Calder: Big Drama looking sharp for Vosburgh

Champion sprinter Big Drama turned in perhaps his best work yet in preparation for next Saturday's Grade 1 Vosburgh when cruising an easy half mile in :48.18 seconds under jockey Daniel Centeno this morning at Calder. Big Drama was in hand throughout while posting splits of :12.59, :24.57 and :36.30. He picked up some unexpected company when hooking in with a horse from trainer Manny Tortora's barn at the three-eighths pole but easily pulled away from the work mate to finish seven lengths clear at the wire. He then galloped out five eighths in 1:00.30 before pulling up six furlongs in 1:15 flat!  Fawkes said he was delightated with the move.  Although Centeno breezed Big Drama, Ramon Dominguez will be aboard the defending Eclipse Award and Breeders Cup Sprint champion in the Vosburgh.
