Calder: Another promising Calder juvenile

The tote board spoke volumes before the ninth race with first time starter God Willing bet early and often, eventually going postward at 4-5  and then running to those odds when cruising to an easy debut victory under jockyLuis Jurado. God Willing, a son of Trippi, did race a little green through the stretch failing to change leads until inside the sixteenth pole although by that time the issue was no longer in doubt. Argentine Tango, another first time starter, finished best of all, to prove best of the rest. The winner's final time of :53.20 was very good considering the somewhat cuppy nature of the strip.  Expecting trainer Dave Vivian's phone to be ringing off the hook already.
