Belmont Park: Dominguez sweeps early double

Jockey Ramon Dominguez swept the early daily double Monday, guiding the Rudy Rodriguez-trained Wall of Worry ($11.60). to victory over the Richard Dutrow-Jr trained 4-5 favorite Liza Too. In the second, Ramon got the Tony Dutrow-trained Tap Night ($7.10) to the wire first.

 The Ramon double returned $37.80.

It was the eleventh multi-win day of the meet for Dominguez, who will undoubtedly win the Belmont riding title. His 33 wins are 10 more than John Velazquez. This is the 21st card of the meet (2 others were canceled due to weather) and we know DOminguez missed at least three days here.

Dominguez rides Contessa-trained Dixie Nite Out in third. He is currently 5-1 on the board.

With scratch of Neon Light from stakes, Dominguez likely rides the new favorite, Aruna.
