Belmont: Good & off the turf

The sun is back out (finally), but in the wake of recent rain the main track is labeled "good" and all scheduled turf races (4-5-6-7) have been taken off the grass.

With a record of 10-2-4 from 25 starters, Rudy Rodriguez has a three-win lead over Todd Pletcher atop the trainer standings, and looks "live" with all three of his starters beginning with Adams Circle, who was announced with two notable late equipment changes: aluminum pad off and blinkers on.

Later on, R-Rod will send out B B Frank (7th) and Endless Circle (8th). The latter will be favored in the Easy N' Dirty overnight stakes, which was originally rained out last Friday.
