Belmont: 5 in a row for Rudy!

Brigadier General (3rd, $16.40) broke on top and never looked back, wiring a $25,000 maiden-claiming sprint to give meet-leading trainer Rudy Rodriguez his fifth straight winner since Sunday.

Wise Stop got the streak going in Sunday's final race, followed by yesterday's trio of Adams Circle. B B Frank and Endless Circle.

Rodriguez is now 14-2-4 from 29 starters this fall, and has doubled up his closest pursuer, some guy named Todd Pletcher.

Rodriguez goes for six in a row with Rudy Rudy Rudy (naturally), who opened as the 6-5 choice for the upcoming 4th race.
