Arlington: Where its not Travers Day

Kind of a yawner of a card, but oh well - with all the big racing around the country today, AP must know they're going to be 4th-class citizens this afternoon.

Sunny, 84 degrees, southwest wind (cross/headwind in stretch) 10-18 mph
Turf firm, rail in lane 4

Lone turf race, the second, a $15K N2L claimer, went to mid-pack closer Lucky Gal, who was something like 1-253 coming in. Got the job done at just $7.60.

After three races, the Poly seems fair while producing moderate times. Surprise, surprise - Wayne Catalano and Nick Canani are dominating the card! Catalano has two on the day already, with $3.80 Tufao taking the opener, but Satellite Trick hitting at $19.80 in race 4. Satellite Trick second after layoff, second for Catalano, and moved forward just enough to beat a bad bunch of $7.5K N2L claimers. Canani

Canani scored in race 3, an open $5K Poly-claimer, with Jilluke, who I thought was losing form, and may have been, but fired just enough with perfect stalking trip to get home.
