Arlington: Smart Money!

Email

First-time starter One Last Dance was taking some decent betting action throughout the wagering for race 5, a one-turn-mile maiden-special weight, and seemed like he was going to go postward at 2-1 or 5-2. Meaning that was some pretty heavy action that knocked One Last Dance down to 6-5 while the horses were in the starting gate. Smart money. Gasp set a crazy pace (45-second and change half-mile split this meet is sizzling), One Last Dance got off the rail and on the far outside under E.T. Baird, and won fairly comfortably over "natural" favorite Missed the Point. $4.20 is not exactly a home run, but someone was right about this Officer colt trained by Mike Reavis.
