Arlington: Saturday turf report

The turf is called yielding, and that seems legit given how much rain we've had. But times are not as slow as one might expect on a really yielding course. Speed held in two of the day's four grass races, both times in turf sprints, but I don't think the course was biased today.

Fine, fine showing by Chamberlain Bridge in the Arlington Sprint. He's changed his game, learning to rate and finish, and is a better horse for it. Still has tactical speed, and looks as good as ever at age 6.

Calabrese-Canani entry Bella Moneta bet to 1-1 in just-completed race 9, a $40K N3L turf-sprint claimer, but no dice. I Juana Win -- bet to 3-1 with 3 minutes to post before drifting up to 6-1 at off time -- slipped clear on the lead and there was no catching her. Two turf winners for jockey E.T. Baird. Bella Moneta didn't seem to transfer fine Poly form to turf,
