Arlington: Return of the inside bias?

Granted, race 1 winner Red All Over raced two paths wide, and granted race 3 winner Greta's Rap was even money, but after four races on a beautiful Thursday at Arlington, the rail looks like the place to be. Red All Over, clearly well meant in career debut for Wayne Catalano - Seth Martinez combo, had to work to push past rail speed Amalfi Runner, who held well for secon. Spanish Baron came right up the fence to win race 2 by five lengths, Greta's Rap won by a mile, and in race 4, rail-drawn speed Essence of Bubbles easily held off rail-rallying favorite Larry Zip to win by two lengths. Second choice Pryce's Posse pressed three wide here and wound up last. Just-run race 5 saw bet-down Pedralino set a quick two-turn pace and hold on for a dead heat with Lemon Custard, who made the bulk of his rally - you guessed it -- along the fence. The Polytrack hasn't looked like this since June 25, the last day of a prevailing and prolonged inside bias. Stay tuned.
