Arlington: Perez/Block take early Friday double

Catalano-trained class-riser Sudden Interest got hammered in the race 1 better, going off at 3-2 despite having lost a $25K maiden-claimer last out and here facing MSW foes. And then he got hammered out on the track, with logical chalk Wulfgar much, much the best. Wulfgar a Chris Block - Eddie Perez winner, and that trainer-jock combo also took race 2, a $25K maiden-claiming sprint, with long-layoff comebacker Tinner, who rallied inside and scored at 2-1 despite a very late lead change.

Conditions today: Off turf for second day in a row.
It's crazy-windy: Wind west (head-wind stretch) 20-30 mph. Gonna produce fast splits in one-turn races, slow finishing fractions.
This is the coolest day since I-don't-know-when. Sometime in May? Its 70 degrees, and not getting much warmer. Should be back on turf for Saturday's card.
