Aqueduct: Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!

Safe to say a lot of pick-6 players are still alive after the first two legs, even though Economic Swoon (4th, $4.40) and Easy Gallop (5th, $8.30) were both up the track in their most recent starts.

Economic Swoon upped red-hot Rick Violette Jr.'s record to 5-2-0 from 12 inner-track starters. He had not been out since a 16 1/2-length defeat in an allowance at Saratoga, but posted a front-end score over $25,000 non-winners of two claiming sprinters.

Easy Gallop, beaten a combined 76 lengths in five starts this year at Monmouth Park and Parx Racing, dropped to $16,000 in his first start for Rudy Rodriguez, and fought back on the rail to outgame Pewter after a long drive. Major Rock Star, 3-5 with dead aim on the duelers, had no excuse.
