Aqueduct: Racinjasin takes late money, scores

Email

Raceinjasin, touted in this blog last Saturday after he finished a troubled fourth at 5-1 in a $25,000 maiden claimer, came back to win Saturday's second race, a $35,000 maiden claimer, with blinkers on and journeyman C.C. Lopez taking over for apprentice Brian Pedroza. Horse was 3-1 3 mintues to post, went down to 9-5 before backflashing to 2-1. He returned $6.10 to win.

Well Built, dropping from state-bred maiden special to maiden claiming, got up by a nose over Actlikeyoumeanit, the co-favorite.
