Aqueduct: Prado bounces back with win

Jockey Edgar Prado, thrown from his mount leaving the starting gate in the sixth, came back to win the ninth aboard Gata Perra (Cat Dog). It was the second win on the card for Prado, who won the opener aboard U Boat Alley.

It was also the second win on the card for trainer Richard Schosberg, who won the sixth with Steal the Shot. The win on Gata Perra was more important as it came for Schosberg's wife, Dawn. The Schosbergs also bred this 3-year-old daughter of Catienus

Two-win day a nice pick-me-up for Schosberg barn which had gone just 4 for 46 to begin the year.

Divine Majesty faded to sixth as the 4-5 favorite under Ramon Dominguez, one race after Dominguez got nailed on the wire in the Billy Redcoat Stakes aboard 2-5 favorite Mr. Fantasy.

Dominguez is now done for the Aqueduct meet. He serves a three-day suspension (Thursday, Friday and Sunday) and will ride Eightyfiveinafifty in Saturday's Derby Trial at Churchill Downs. Dominguez will return to New York for Friday's opening-day at Belmont Park.

Dominguez finishes the Aqueduct spring meet with 28 winners, 10 ahead of David Cohen, who has four days to try and win 11 races. Not impossible.
