Aqueduct: Fast and frigid

Email

The frozen tundra, er, inner track, is fast at frigid Aqueduct, where the mercury will not make it to the freezing mark, and a northwesterly breeze makes for a wind-chill in the low-teens.

The nine-race card is highlighted by the $60,000 Cosmic Bob (race 3), an overnight stake for 3-year-olds at a mile and 70 yards that scratched down to four when Peppi Knows was withdrawn. Two of the remaining entrants, Monsignor and No Shenanigans, are trained by Todd Pletcher.
