Aqueduct: Dominguez takes inner track opener

Jockey Ramon Dominguez, who figures to dominate the inner track season for a fourth consecutive winter, got the meet off to a successful start when he guided 1-2 favorite D'Oratory to an easy victory in the opener, which was run on the main track. It was originally scheduled for the turf.

The first three finishers --- D'Oratory, Go Unbridled and Wind in My Sails --- all were entered for main-track only.

Earlier, we mentioned that Maylan Studart would not be riding today. She won't be riding until Dec. 17. She began serving a 15-day suspension today dating back to a careless riding incident from Memorial Day at Belmont. She rode Auric Girl to victory at 41-1 that day, but did she carelessly allow her horse to come from the rail to the six-path nearly causing a spill.
