Aqueduct: Be Bullish wins Mr. Nasty


  Be Bullish (3rd, $6.60) stalked pacesetting 9-5 favorite Deputy Daney to the stretch, and wore down that rival to win the $60,000 Mr. Nasty overnight stakes under Junior Alvarado.

  Be Bullish. a durable gray 6-year-old New York-bred gelding by Pure Prize, ran six furlongs in 1:11.35 on a muddy main track to win for the ninth time in 47 starts.

  Be Bullish won the Hollie Hughes first time off a $75,000 claim by Rick Dutrow, earning $39,000, and today's additional $36,000 winner's share means he has won himself out in two starts for his new connections.

  Deputy Daney held gamely to be a clear second over Temecula Creek.

  Flat Bold and Kruger Park completed the order of finish.
