Ben Cambra joins Daily Racing Form as SVP, Business Development & Sponsorships


New York, NY (Sept 28, 2015): Daily Racing Form is pleased to announce that Ben Cambra has joined Daily Racing Form in the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Business Development & Sponsorships.

Cambra will oversee company-wide sales and marketing operations and will also lead Daily Racing Form’s content syndication efforts and build industry partnerships.

Cambra, who hails from a racing family, has spent nearly four decades in horse racing and other sports entertainment enterprises while specializing in marketing and sponsorship-related roles. During the past 15 years, the majority of his work has been with Winnercomm Inc, the Emmy Award-winning television production and digital media firm in Tulsa, Okla.

While at Winnercomm, Cambra served as Vice President, NTRA Productions from 2000-2005, then as Senior Vice President until 2010 when he formed his own company, Cambra Strategies LLC, based in Dallas, Tex. Cambra’s role at Winnercomm included coordination of telecast production, media negotiation and sponsorship sales on networks including ESPN, NBC, NBC Sports Network, CBS, FOX Sports and Comcast regional networks. Since 2002, Cambra has also overseen content management, sponsorship and marketing across all distribution platforms for ESPN.com Horse Racing.

Cambra has worked with leading brands, both inside and outside of horse racing, including Anheuser-Busch, Subway, Tecate Beer, Denny’s Restaurants and Evan Williams Bourbon. Cambra brings to DRF extensive experience and industry relationships from his numerous marketing and sponsorship roles at racetracks such as Emerald Downs, Remington Park, Canterbury Downs, Del Mar Thoroughbred Club and Santa Anita Park.
